There was an abundance of lovely fics, ficlets, and art to be had all through December as part of hd_owlpost! I was especially lucky to get three amazing gifts this year, which I previously recced here - go read :) But other people got lovely gifts as well, and so I'm reccing my favorites of the gifts that weren't for me below :)

Summary: Draco is strong-armed into spending the first Christmas after the War with the Weasleys. And Harry Potter.

Oh my god, this fic is so good! I enjoyed it from the very beginning to the end, and it delivers all the best feels! I love how natural and *real* everything felt. It wasn't simplified or made too easy. Having Draco over for the first Christmas dinner after the war *should* be awkward and tense and problematic, even while everyone is trying their best. I love everything the author did with this - all the characterizations were just superb, and the burgeoning romance was lovely. Gorgeous story, and a perfect Christmas read.

A soulmark AU that is fun and unique and hot. I love how only the person who is your soulmate can see what your mark really looks like.

A well written reconciliation fic that delivers the feels.

Summary: Draco starts wearing Muggle suits and Harry’s definitely losing his mind.

Mostly PWP but well written and fun. Great charcterizations with wonderful snarkiness from Draco and determined denial from Harry. Loved how it all built up to an incredibly hot sex scene :)

Very cute and amusing :) Love the drunken flirting, and love Draco's premonition that “Potter here was seen going home with a hot blond.”

Quite sweet and enjoyable :) Loved that Draco asked why Harry wasn't with Hermione - it's a nice way to segue into what he really wants to know!
